This work presents a curated selection of wildflowers that grow on Hallasan Mountain, the highest peak on Jeju Island. Focusing on species that thrive across varying elevations, the series documents their forms, colors, and textures within the mountain’s distinctive ecological environment. The volcanic landscape, shifting climate conditions, and elevation gradients shape a diverse habitat where each species reflects adaptation and resilience. Through detailed observation and high-resolution imagery, the work explores the relationship between plant life and terrain, combining artistic composition with botanical study. The series aims to highlight the ecological richness of Hallasan while preserving the quiet beauty of its native wildflowers in a visual narrative.
