This graphite work depicts a leaf of Armoracia rusticana (horseradish). Particular attention is given to the characteristic form of the leaf, its expressive veining, and the tonal transitions that convey volume and surface texture. The work is based on my own observations, with the aim of accurately reflecting the natural structure and sculptural quality of the plant.

Tonal rendering emphasizes volume, depth, and surface texture. The work is based on my own observations, aiming to accurately convey the plant’s natural structure and sculptural quality.
