I love to grow sweet peas in my garden. Last summer I took many pictures of it and I finally painted this composition from some of the pictures this month. I also used some color samples from my summer garden sketchbook to validate the accuracy of the colors. Kelanie Chapdelaine is a botanical illustrator located in Quebec, Canada, where snow covers plants for more than half of the year. Kelanie is an expert in horticultural science and a talented artist. She works with universities, schools, researchers, organisms, and passionate individuals to produce accurate illustrations about botany.
