Zeuxine strateumatica, or the Fine-leaved Zeuxine, is a common native orchid in Taiwan, found in low-altitude grasslands, park lawns, and field ridges. This specimen was discovered on a metropolitan high school campus between February and March. Its brownish-green, linear leaves blend perfectly with the grass, making it nearly invisible until it blooms. The flowering period is brief, lasting only 3 to 4 weeks before the plant vanishes. The specimen stands 11 cm tall, with 5 mm flowers. Design Layout: Right Side: A macro close-up showcasing the flower's intricate details. Left Side: Internal anatomical structures of Orchidaceae. Pollen illustrations are referenced from Kant & Kumar (2010), Anther Development in Orchidaceae (Figure 1).
