The outer circle shows harvested rice in various husk appearances and colors with the 6 wild species found all over Thailand at the bottom. The inner circle illustrates husked rice of each respective grain. This painting shows rice in diversity of just 30 samples among 25,000 cultivars grown in Thailand.

Gloriosa superba (Flame lily) is native to Africa and tropical Asia including Thailand. Its vibrant yellow to red petals with green ovary easily attracts passersby.
