I drew Nepenthes bicalcarata to show the uniqueness of its pitcher lip, which has fangs on the top, which makes it different from most other Nepenthes species, as well as its unique inflorescence, which is clustered with more than 3 flowers in 1 branch. This Nepenthes itself is an endemic plant of the Kalimantan Islands in Indonesia. I was very fortunate to be able to observe the flowering stage of Nepenthes bicalcarata, which is very difficult to find, even when this plant under intensive care of a nursery, it is very difficult to get it to flower. Captivated by its beauty, move me to draw it with my recent favorite medium, pen on paper.
