This work is dedicated to the beauty of irises grown in my own garden. Each flower is depicted with careful attention to its individual character, form, and color. The irises appear as living beings—delicate, yet filled with inner strength and dignity. The contrast between the deep black background and the vibrant hues of the petals enhances the sense of light, as if it radiates from within the flowers themselves. The piece is executed in gouache on black paper, allowing for a rich depth of color and a subtle shimmering effect.
